12:07 p.m.

I could get used to this.

Get used to what?

Not working 9-6. Working half-day and then taking off to go hiking or do other things. You know....play while everyone is working.

I could really get used to this if I didn't have to worry about paying rent, bills, and loans.

This would be the life. If only.....

Friday: At 8:15 a.m., I drove to Le Merigot Hotel in Santa Monica to work for the company that recently cut my hours. Met the clients and my cowokers. Ate a pack of boysenberry yogurt and a huge croissant while drinking Earl Grey tea. Five minutes later, we found out that our focus group was somewhere else. Boss rounded us up and told us to gather up everything and whip our asses to the other location. So off to the Olympic Collection we went. Worked until 12:45. Went home.

Called up Jorge like he asked me to. He didn't answer. I left a message. Washed dishes, took a nap. 45 minutes later, Jorge called back. We chatted. He had been writing some music while playing his guitar when I had called. We decided to go eat after he looks over his brother's homework.

Jorge got to my place at about 2:30 and we decided to go eat at Hide Sushi. It was empty for once. The waitress wouldn't let us sit at the big corner table even though there were like only 5 other people eating there. Stingy. So we took a 2-seater next to the big corner table. Jorge ordered the Chirashi bowl and Spicy Tuna Roll. I got an order of Spicy Tuna Roll, Cucumber Roll, and Yellowtail.

Our conversation involved the wedding he's in this Sunday, the wedding rehearsal dinner and how much drama there was on the bride's side of the family: it involved two stripper sisters, one of whom is divorcing her husband who will also be at the wedding and she will be bringing her new boyfriend. Yikes.

Other conversation also included smoking. Jorge makes it a point to not date smokers or anyone who smokes pot or takes drugs. He's in luck here.

I need to get rid of the sack of pot I have hidden somewhere, including the pipe and bong. It's not like I smoke it. I only did that with you know....the guy who broke my heart last and only on an occasional basis.

Afterwards, we walked back to his car with his arms around my shoulders and my arm around his waist. I like how he does that, but even more so, I'd like for him to start holding my hand. Should I just slip my hand into his the next time we are walking side by side?

We decided to go back to my place for a bit at least until 5:45. Back at my place, I slipped a copy of Hooverphonic: The Magnificent Tree into my cd player. He wanted to see the animation I did in my Flash class so I booted up the computer.

While waiting for it to boot up, we sorta ended up entangled into each other's arms and then lost ourselves for the next hour or so while Puma jumped all over us.

Jorge thinks Puma is a pervert.

At 5:45, Jorge decided to get going so he could go for a jog before sundown and so I could go out with my friends. I fed him a kona coffee flavored mochi ice cream ball. As usual, he kept pecking at my lips before heading out the door. When I looked into the mirror, I noticed I had white powder on my lips....which freaked me out at first until I realized it was from the mochi ball that Jorge had been eating. Hahahaa. Oh, that reminds me about the other time when we got bobas. He tried to slip a boba into my mouth while we were kissing. Now that, that was a little gross, but a fun moment.

6:00p.m.: I drove down to CC-girl's place to meet up with her and our other friend, Porn-girl. While waiting for CC-girl to get ready, Porn-girl and I flipped through some photo albums. Then, the three of us Asian chickees piled into CC-girl's silver VW Beetle and headed down south on the 405 towards Garden Grove to meet up with our other buds at Tofu House.

Tofu House is this Korean restaurant that serves really yummy pots of tofu with dumplings and other stuff, along with rice and many appetizers. It was really rather good. We had enough food for at least 5 other people after we were too stuffed to eat anymore.

After Tofu House, the 12 of us headed to The Block in Orange for some Ben & Jerry's icecream. Let me tell ya that eating is really one of life's 3 pleasures. I'm surprised none of us are fat.

We strolled into an Anime (sp?) store where I discovered Anime p-o-r-n! Can you believe that? My friend was looking at dvds when I saw a section with the p-o-r-n goods and then I decided to ask the salesman if he could give us a preview as I was fascinated by the idea of "cartoon" p-o-r-n. He couldn't saw me as there were minors in the store.

We headed over to Virgin Records afterwards where a bunch of us ended up in the self-help section and browsed through relationship books. It seems quite of few of us in the group have recently gone through a break-up or are still single, so it was fun browsing through those books together.

--------------------------------------------------

Saturday: That's right now. Jorge is supposed to call me today, but I don't know when. Supposedly, I won't be seeing him today or tomorrow.

There's a party tonight that I'm not too enthusiatic about attending. Also, I might get together with some friends later on. Not sure, yet.

I think I will do some laundry and some spring cleaning.
