Oso invited me over to have dinner with his family today. It was one of his sister's birthdays. I had a really good time listening and talking to his folks and sister about their family stories. I love hearing about how people started out when they were young, what they had to go through. It's all so interesting especially when it's got to do with your boyfriend's relatives.

Dinner was really yummy, too. We had ribs, macaroni salad, white rice and Russian salad. Afterwards, we had a cake and ice cream.
