I am learning this. My first paid site is just about ready to be launched. I am so excited. I will also be maintaining and upkeeping the site as it grows, hopefully into something profitable for the company, which woud inevitably benefit me in more ways than one. Soon to follow will be mine own portfolio site.

We Want You

So I've sorta been offered a job by a long-time friend of mine who has a sucessful, mostly online business that is quickly growing, monetary-wise, as well as popularity in its category.

I don't know if I should take it or even if it's a smart idea to get into business with a friend, though it's more like friend would be hiring me as an employee. Also, it's not exactly a design job, though I'd get to do a little of that, but there's definitely lots of crafty stuff that I would get to do. I guess the deciding factor is going to be 1) exactly how much i can earn for a living with this particular company, 2) how much flexibility would there be as far as vacation and off-time goes, 3) do i really want this sort of job, and 4) is this something i think i'd do for at least 5 years.

This Weekend's Movie

So Oso and I just saw The Matrix Revolutions. I didn't like it. In fact, I started to dose off right in the middle of the flick. Though some folks were saying it was better than the 2nd one, I disagree. So does Oso. We both think the 2nd one was a bit more interesting, though both still aren't as good as the first.

Orange Roughy

For my brother's gf's birthday, we went to The R_E_D onion in Palos Verdes this weekend where we took up 4 round tables. I had the Orange Roughy entree and it was just so yummy cooked in Cajun Spice, garnished with delectable grilled veggies and thinly sliced fruit along with crunchy tators. I stuffed myself happily and left a clean plate in the end, even having enough room to eat a big slice of cake.

Afterwards, Oso and I made our way back to LA where we joined our friends for a few drinks at our usual bar, Liquid K_i_t_t_y, though neither Oso nor I drank any alcohol. In fact, I haven't felt like drinking in such a long time. I think the last alcoholic drink I had was back in July. Something like that.
